Confirmation of Participation In SAMTAS Football League

We have confirmed our participation in the above mentioned league.
Here's a summary of the details:-

  • Our team name is T.C. MBOG, a name which reflects a true collaboration between 2 teams, and their names. T.C. are initials for Team Cuzz. We won't be using Team Cuzz due to obvious reasons that the team we're collaborating with arent exactly our cousins.
  • I've put myself as the Manager for easier coordination while Asst manager is Danial (someone from our co-team). My post is only on paper. Commitee members, please feel free to exercise your authority and carry out your respective roles. Our Team Captain & Vice remains the same - Bro Shahrudin & Bro Shukur.
  • Due to kick off in the first weekend of Aug and ending in Nov. Oh yes, it stretches over the fasting month too. Too late to backout now huh haha. But well, who says we cant play soccer when we fast ryte?
  • 6 teams participating in the league. That will give us a total of 10 matches, 5 to be played by us while the other 5 by our co-team.
  • All games will be played on either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning & afternoon. During fasting month, organisers are trying to push games to the late afternoon.
    All games will be played in either of the listed pitches: St Wilfred Stadium, Xinmin Secondary School, Woodlands Secondary School, Jurong Junior College and Si Ling Secondary School.
  • Fixtures have not been released by organisers as yet. Will choose the fixtures to accomodate to majority of our players' availability, and at the same time catering to co-team's prference. This is up for discussion during the meeting.
  • Confirmed First Fixture for our team: 3rd Aug(Sun) @ St Wilfred @ 1300h. Weird timing. Dun complain.
  • The total expense for 10 league matches is SGD700, where half of it will be settled by our side in a lump-sum payment. Will need to collect and make payment before friday dis week. I did some calculations and derived SGD25 per person. It's just a suggestion. Treasurer Khairil/Khairul please feel free to decide on the appropriate amount.
  • All participants are needed to sign the letter of indemnity. Will be printing this and passed around before 1st fixture.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the team that is first placed at the end of the league in the form of medals for each of the 22 players in the team and a league trophy. In the event that we win, only 11 medals will be awarded to Team Cuzz. I suppose attendance is the best & fairest way to decide who gets them. Once again, up for discussion.
  • It's stated that there will be an MVP award for the best player with the most number of Man-of-the-Match Awards. With you-know-who in our team, don't even think about it. If you think you are the 'you-know-who', may Allah bless you with more humility haha. Datz ol the updates that I have at the moment.
