Now for the BIG one!

In the build-up to the highly anticipated "top-of-the-table" clash between Tuan Gemok Athletic (TGA) and TeamCuzz, Barclays has ceased the screening of all its English Premier League matches to fully focus on the only one that matters this weekend. Managers from both sides have also added spice to the encounter with mind games which would put Jose Mourinho to shame.

TGA's manager, Jacob Biscuits, fired the first salvo last Tuesday, reminding everyone how his team tore TeamCuzz apart with a mere 10 man. "Simply stunning, aint it?" It is no surprise that confidence exudes from the team managed by ex-MK Dons reserve youth manager. After all, TGA had just managed an outrageous 11-1 schooling of cellar-dwellars Andrastos. When asked if his team was prepared for the BIG match this weekend, Biscuits cheekily replied "There's a big match this weekend? Well my secretary certainly didn't inform me about it. As far as I'm concerned, those are just Yellow midgets waiting to be squashed by us giants. There's no doubt we'll prevail as Champs this season!"

The comments certainly didnt go down well with TeamCuzz's manager. Although he is known for his aura of calmness, he was certainly agitated by the insensitivity showed by his opposite number. He'll be the first to own up that TGA did not dominate the first leg for reasons only he knows why. Arranging a pre-match conference of his own, the Manager attended alongside TeamCuzz youth/ chief scout Sufyanion Fareeziola. Here's an excerpt of the conference that took place yesterday.

Reporter: What do you have to say about TGA's manager's confidence ahead of this encounter?
ZA: Well, technically, they are at the top of the table, so their confidence is not surprising. They did very well to thrash those sorry Andrastos. But then again who couldn't? You do know that Andrastos was playing with just 8 right?

Reporter: What is your strategy ahead of the game?
ZA: Hmmm the first time round, we were not familiar with the pitch, and the same thing again for this encounter. They get the most unbelievable of pitches that no one else has heard of! In any case, we have to adapt to the pitch, which can only be done if we arrive early enough. With ample time to do so, we shall be more comfortable to take down those 'beasts'.

Reporter: You've been known to be a strategeist like Rafa. Please tell me there's more to what you just told us?
ZA: (scratches head) Errrr of course. The same way as it was with Real Ale Madrid, we will be expecting them to impose their physique on us and use 'route-one' type of football. Our players need to contest this and ensure that we make it hard for them to head-on or lay the ball for their on-rushing players. At the same time, other players need to hustle back to react fastest to the second ball. Closing them down quickly is key in this game, as TGA has proven that they can score goals from almost anywhere. Most importantly, we need to shore our defence for this one as we've been leaking goals like Scunthorpe this past few weeks.

As for our own way of attack, TeamCuzz will be relying on speed and slick passing for most of our forays upfront. We have shown that we can play against such big lads and take them down with our own brand of football. Composure is still questionable for most of our players, especially in terms of converting chances into goals tomorrow. We failed to do that in the first encounter, and TGA made us pay by converting the chances they had. We can't afford to have a repeat of such display tomorrow!

Reporter: Would you be comfortable enough to reveal to us your starting 11 for tomorrow?
ZA: Haha nice try but that won't work on me. Apart from the unconfirmed status of Joseph & Hyder, I have more or less a complete team for tomorrow. Nevertheless, I might be starting with a few youth players too, in particular both my sons. My man over here might get some precious minutes too.

Reporter: (turns to the direction of Sufyanion Fareeziola) What do you have to say about that?
SF99: Hmmm I don't really know whether I should comment, for it might just be that the manager is playing his mind games with me. But what I definitely do know is that my Mamu Wan is the best!!!

What needs to be said has been said. As the clock strikes 1500hrs tomorrow, mouths will shut while the feet will do all the talking. Now is the time. Now for the BIG one.
