Just like Barca Outclassing Real

TeamCuzz put up a Barca-like display to dispatch once dark horse Real Ale Madrid 4-1 at the Jurong Stadium. Just as millions around the world witnessed Pep Guardiola's troops showing no respect to arch-rivals Real Madrid by winning 2-0 at Santiago Bernebeau, TeamCuzz did likewise infront of a significantly lesser crowd - a queue of greedy punters.

If Barca has Messi to conjure the magic and goals, then TeamCuzz certainly depended on Syed for this game. The striker was in devastating form, scoring all 4 goals for the team currently seating on 3rd position in the ESPZen standings and in the dire need of goals. When asked if he sees himself in the same league as Messi, the modest striker replied a short, sharp "No." No one, saw that coming.

Syed's goals were all classic, showcasing the array of ammunition that he had. His first was a perfectly executed lob over the goalie, after he used his pace to latch onto a through ball from Imran. His second saw his opportunistic eye for goal, getting in between the last man and goalie to easily slot home from 10cm out. Credit to Saifuddin for picking him out with an immaculate long pass. His third was a typical fox-in-the-box finish. Faizul drove a low cross across the 6 yard box which the striker finished with a simple tap-in. He saved the last as the best of the lot, when he placed the ball into the top corner after neat work by Hyder & Shahrudin.

And somehow, I have a feeling our match tomorrow will be called off. And so will many other matches in the league. And our cannister of Bird's Nest will only be drank to quench the thirst from eating donuts. You just wait and see.
