Highlights from Post-Match Briefing

This is how the procedure goes - You say, I try to remember, I summarise, I write, You "SHOUT" on the tagboard, the rest responds.

A brief overview of what was said (in no particular order of importance). It might not cover all aspects as the human memory has its limits as well. Have also included issues adapted from tagboard based on what the captain said on SMSes received by fellow players. Please refer to tagboard for more details on issues #14-19.
  1. Unanimous decision on Man-of-the-Match Syukri and applauding his performances. This was echoed by several players.
  2. Syukri provides an option in central midfield.
  3. Applauding unsung hero Arul and his contributions to the team.
  4. Highlighting team was hard done by in the game. Played well despite lost. Consensus that lack of players caused instability in 1st half which caused ultimate downfall and lost.
  5. Did intimidation by opponent's physical play disrupted our game play?
  6. Inability to play as a team. Lack of off-the-ball movements and support for each other.
  7. 'Good game' remark by Riduan, and his agreement to try out on more offensive positions i.e. Striker.
  8. Poor Goals-to-Shots ratio. A need to capitalise on set pieces i.e. freekicks, corners.
  9. Latecoming issues. Meet up at common location or meet straight at venue?
  10. Should not start with a sense of inferiority since we're a talented team ourselves.
  11. Good self-control to calm down and not retaliate. Suggestions to fast on match days. Joking ryte? No?.
  12. The need for a commanding centre back.
  13. Implementing the right formation which is balanced both offensively and defensively.
  14. Question of team's fighting spirit and desire to win.
  15. Play for fun or play to win??? If it's the latter, is there a need to implement Constructive Criticism on the pitch? This means some sort of "scolding" for mistakes made in game. Noted that blood ties could be a hindrance. Suggestions for position ICs to take charge of different positions.
  16. Implementation of 4-4-2 Diamond.
  17. Training every other weekend when no matches are scheduled.
  18. Yearly awards for TeamCuzz players.
  19. EXCO's role and effectiveness.

Share ur thoughts on the tagboard. Protocol for easier facilitation - identification of one's self (name or jersey number) and issue reference number before ur thoughts.

If you have a grandmother's version of these issues and itz too long for the tagboard to accomodate, email to teamcuzz@gmail.com. Same procedure of identifying one's self and reference to issue is needed. I'll then post them here. In the spirit of Freedom of Speech, I'll merely cut and paste without any alterations. Ur voice will be heard by the masses as pure as when u wrote it.

This is OUR team. Letz not get to a point where only a few dominates discussion while others simply keep their thoughts to themselves. Yup I'm refering to you there. Viewed the blog silently for the 14th time today but never shout ever before ryte. Gothca didnt I? Before u press that 'X' button on the top right of ur screen, pls do shout ur views. As long as we keep to our values and stand by the English FA's "Respect Campaign", it will do all good and no harm. I look forward to ur responses.
