Jln Tembusu Pitch, Jln Tembusu - In the curtain-raiser for the season ahead, TeamCuzz got off to a flyer with a 3-1 victory over Real (as in Real Sociedad) Cousins. A brace from in-form striker Faisal and another from "passed-a-late-fitness-test" Khairil secured the game for Tok Jan's dear grandchildren.
It was a great outing all-around, highlighted with the return of self-declared soccer retiree Shikin. The depth of the team was evident for all to see, as TeamCuzz was even generous enough to export their imports once again.
Calling all the way from his native Pengerang, the sole owner of TeamCuzz had this to say - "Congratulations my dear grandchildren. You have made me proud by proving to the world how far unity can bring you. However, always remember that in the midst of your competitive spirit, do not play too hard. Or else, you will end up like my personal karate kid, Faizul. I'm missing his karate chops, but he has improvised with his crutches ever since. Anyway, always remember your roots, and come back to trim this Pengerang field that have made you guys the great players you are today."
