Cuzz Derby

TeamCuzz management has managed to arrange an enticing first game for 2009 - a mouth-watering battle with another team made up of Cuzzs. The match was originally scheduled to be played at the Legendary Kallang Stadium for its umpteenth "last" roar, but it was not to be. Bragging rights for "the-best-Cuzz-team-to-ever-exist" is up for grabs on the pitch at Jalan Tembusu tommorrow.

Based on the TeamCuzz activation, plenty of Cuzzs have stated their availability for the game. As much as the Voice of TeamCuzz is considerably happy with the players available, it wasn't achieved after many hours of waiting and SMSes sent. There is so much that needs to be done to ensure a more efficient system of declaring availability (i.e. reply faster luh!!!).

These are the list of players confirmed at press time:-

Kamal & Co (presumably with Sarif, Heri & Amirul being the other 3)
Zulkhairi
Fazlon
Shahrudin
Riduan
Faisal
Saifudin
Sharil Omar
Syukri
& a couple of imports

On the pending list, among others, are Khairil, Luqman, Shukur, Sharil Noni & Syafiq. Definitely out are Khairul, Imran & Faizul (duh!).

TeamCuzz's joint Assistant Manager and Scout, Muhihio Fareeziola A. Sufyaninho, has compiled a comprehensive report for the game.

Team Report
Our Team has strength and depth to overcome the opponent. There is also a right balance of experience and youth to provide a dynamic gameplay. I urge Shahrudin to "Continue where you left off the last time!" and all other players to "Do it for the fans".

Opponent
The opponents will most probably play a hard, aggressive game to snuff out all of our attacks. Do play just as hard, and continue with our short-pass game which has worked wonders in previous matches. No individual stand out from their team, simply because they are just an average team (more like I noe none of them).

Pitch
To put it nicely, the pitch isn't the best in town. To put it crudely, the pitch's bad. If the pitch does indeed disappoint, then take sometime to close your eyes and think of a certain Braddell Pitch we once played in. That should help make things much better upon opening your eyes.

The Voice of TeamCuzz won't be able to play tommorrow, but he'll try to come down to watch from the sidelines if there's enough time. He wishes all players the best of luck for the game. Go grab that Cuzz Cup, and start the year with a bang.
