The dinner was kindly sponsored by a local company, which has requested for anonymity. Inside sources though revealed that the company has dealings with the marine industry, hence the choice for seafood. TeamCuzz would like to reserve special mention for this contribution, for it came as a surprise to all. Having said that, TeamCuzz's spokesperson hopes that he could someday be at least half as generous & selfless as the contributor. May God bless him & his family.
With the tables reserved & food ordered, attendees were pampered with a variety of sumptuous food while enjoying each other's company & the surrounding ambience - hearing the soothing honkings of passing cars & burning smell of motorcycles' brakes. With their bellies full, none of the attendees wanted the event to end early. As such, hot milk tea were ordered as TeamCuzz shifted to the next 2 tables to hold their meeting (they casually joined 2 tables together as if it was their Grandfather's restaurant).
Post-dinner plans included a meeting to address the payment issues for next season, conducting SMS poll to recognise TeamCuzz's Most Valuable Player & Most Improved Player for the season and some words of guidance by senior members. All this were done in a casual rather than formal manner.

In the end, Manager Kamal's arrival & votes concluded the voting. As it turned out, both winners grabbed their respective awards with 7 votes, with some others coming a close second. It showed that many players had a hand in carrying TeamCuzz through the season.
TeamCuzz's Most Valuable Award was awarded to Imran. He had been ever-present throughout the 4 month campaign. The award is his 2nd in 2009 following the Ballon d'Or he received earlier this year. TeamCuzz's Most Improved Award went to Fazlon. It marked a great occassion for the player who had initially contemplated moving to Real Madrid for a whoopping 81.00001 million pounds before the dinner. It is a relief to see that the fullback chose family ties ahead of Florentino Perez's gezillions, thus proving the strong ties present in TeamCuzz. Both were awarded a token in the form of a 'Keris' to remind them to continue with the fighting spirit (no pun intended) within the team. The awards were presented to the 2 in front of a million fans during a separate family event.

TeamCuzz's first ever Post Season Dinner ended on a high. Kudos to the management for organising such an event. Hopefully it could be repeated for coming seasons.
