TeamCuzz signs Goalie

Following the late surge of transfer activity done by leading clubs Chelsea & Liverpool in securing the signatures of strikers to lead their attack, TeamCuzz have decided to do a little spending of their own by shoring up their defence. After a series of failed attempts at attracting the right goalkeeper to don the number 1 jersey, TeamCuzz manager Shahrudin has decided to splash the cash on a teenage sensation for an undisclosed fee after seeing him play just a single match. The transfer was completed ahead of the 11pm deadline for the promising goalkeeper to be eligible to represent TeamCuzz this season.

The transfer came as no surprise as the goalie spot has been long void since the departure of stalwarts Aril and Edmund. The likes of massimo tAYIEbi, eDIN van der sar, oliver khWAN and jorge han BOB had been decent makeshift replacements, but none felt perfectly comfortable in that role.

There were sources suggesting that TeamCuzz's latest signing had been named as one of the possible goalkeepers touted to replace Edwin Van Sar next season, but ManUtd have moved quickly to quash those rumours, labelling it 'totally baseless' and 'utter rubbish'.

Nonetheless, the transfer cannot overshadow the one true inspirational signing which has rocked the football world, disappointed the ailing Reds, turned a certain Scot desperate, angered a wily Frenchman, and most importantly, excite this one fan of the Blues (the real Blues, not the pretenders clad in sky blue).

ps - the words in this video seems perfectly suited in light of feedback I received following the lack of gametime by some recently. It must be reminded to all that TeamCuzz's objective for this season is clear - to push ourselves to finish as high(est) as we possibly can. It did not help that we faced 2 of our strongest competitors in the previous couple of matches, and experienced tense, final few minutes in both. So, I do hope everyone understands that the manager's hands are tied to do much tinkering under such circumstances. That said, there are still plenty more matches left in the season for everyone to participate in. Please be ensured that as TeamCuzz strive towards achieving the PRODUCT, we will continuosly improve our PROCESS and never forget the PEOPLE (thanks to the person who quoted this to me).
