TeamCuzz was certainly the better team on the day, showing much more will and determination to notch a result to overcome last weekend's result. This is despite the fact that the team they put out on that day was littered with loan-signings featuring for the first time. Credit must given to the opponents too as they stood firm. But most plaudits should be reserved for the man in the middle, as his numerous calls were nothing short of controversial, especially the one right before kickoff.
However, the final standings does not mean anything more than it is on paper. Despite their top 3 finish, both TeamCuzz & Oysters have opted to remain in the second tier of Espzen's Saturday league for the coming season. They will be joined by 10 other teams, 5 of whom are completely new teams that have not been faced before. With the 22-game season stretching across 6 months, it will be interesting to see TeamCuzz's transfer activity in the close season.
