10th point Notched for Season 5

TeamCuzz continued their good start to season with another hard-fought victory. Following the win over Team Bravo Police last weekend, TeamCuzz managed another scalp over another title challenger, Red Saga, beating the opponents 1-0 at Regent Secondary. They had to produce yet another disciplined performance against opponents that was very determined and equally disciplined. TeamCuzz was once again brilliant going forward while kept it extremely tight at the back, with players getting more accustomed to the style of play needed when playing the 'bigger' sides.

TeamCuzz welcomed back Syed Iskandar, a once TeamCuzz favourite who left for greener pastures some 3 odd years back. The flamboyant and versatile player never looked like he was gone that long, linking up with various TeamCuzz players when he came on as a 2nd half substitute. Captain Shahrudin also stepped up to the plate as he has done countlessly in the past, delivering a top-quality strike from a quick freekick. The goalkeeper saw the ball late and could only parry the shot into the back of the net.

"Another tough game, another 3 points. That will make a whole lot of difference at season's end," said the delighted Manager. He was spoilt for choice as he had 12 to choose from the bench, a number which equalled the overall turnout for the last game. He was one of 4 who did not get any playing time but who's support from beyond the touchline certainly mattered. It was this kind of commitment and understanding that is hoped to continue to exist to propel TeamCuzz to the league's summit.

Note: Shahrudin scored the winner. It was not reflected due to technical fault (& a tiny wee bit of laziness).
