Team Display Ensures 3 Points

TeamCuzz put up a scintillating attacking display as well as tireless defensive support & efficiency to bring home 3 precious points. Although only 12 could make it for what is definitely the toughest game of the season thus far, TeamCuzz was blessed that all 12 were highly spirited to put up a performance. And they did, without a shadow of a doubt.

They certainly had their lucky stars to thank as even though they did not turn up as early as scheduled, the opponents arrived even later. That gave time for the Manager to give specific instructions to the team to ensure that each player knows his specific role for the game. And it can't be argued that this helped TeamCuzz to settle down faster. The Manager expects "More of the Same" from every player, seeking their cooperation to come even earlier for the team's sake.

TeamCuzz's goals came courtesy of a Hit-&-Run by Captain Shahrudin, who together with his vice captain, led from the front. Their tireless runs provided a series of chances, one of which was converted by Shukur for TeamCuzz's second. TeamCuzz stood firm as a defensive unit from then on, as Team Bravo brought on their cavalry. Despite notching a goal back, Team Bravo rarely threatened much thanks to TeamCuzz's determination to not let slip another lead. They could breathe a sigh of relief 15 minutes from time when Haikal converted after brilliant work by Shahrudin in dispossessing their libero-wannabe central defender.

Time to enjoy the much deserved 3 points. Oh it taste so sweet, doesn't it?
