Next Game: Redsaga II FC

TeamCuzz will need to erase the memories of previous week as they return to Springfield to face Redsaga II later today. TeamCuzz should take heart that this would be Redsaga's 1st game in 5 weeks, and that they have beaten the same opponents on the very same pitch in the 1st game of the season. Redsaga's form has been erratic to say the least, with their wins and losses alternating every week. To ensure the pattern continues, TeamCuzz should take note of 3 key things:

1) Redsaga is a good, disciplined team which can be very hard to breakdown on their day. Intelligent runs to space need to be made by TeamCuzz's forwards and midfielders to disrupt the opponent's order.

2) TeamCuzz should be patient and not rush for the opening goal. They should play their short-passing game with composure as they displayed in the 1st game. That said, they have to be clinical when a chance falls (and not hit the crossbar, twice).

3) Redsaga can score anyhow, anywhere, anytime so defenders and goalkeeper need to be on their toes at all times. Their strikers are all good players in their own right, with "the small" being a persistent pest and extremely clinical like Craig Bellamy, "the lanky" being a classy Berbatov who can draw players to him before picking out an incisive pass, and the "big no 9" being a Gennaro Gattuso higher up in the pitch. They also have a goal in them from the cornerkick, where their centreback will pop up at the near post to nod home a simple goal.

In other news, TeamCuzz will be without Faizul for the next 2 games. Having put in a fine defensive performance for his first 6 games, the self-proclaimed "heart & soul of TeamCuzz" has opted to go for the trial of all trials with Al Umrah FC for the next 12 days. He will be accompanied by his parents and sister for the journey. We wish them the best of health and a fruitful journey that is blessed and guided by Him every step of the way, insyaAllah.

One day. One day.
